Story
History
P.R. de Dios Construction, Inc. was founded in 1975 and named after Engr. Pepito R. de Dios and Incorporated in on July 25, 1997. Engr. Pepito R. de Dios was the only son born to as astute fisherman and a loving homemaker from San Nicolas Guagua, Pampanga who was exposed to the value of hard work and Integrity at a very young age working to support his education until college at the MAPUA institute of Technology.
He used to go home on weekends to his hometown and set-up his makeshift ambulant shoeshine service corner within the periphery of the town cathedral and provide his customers with his usual best shoeshine service to earn a centavo or two to hide him over his studies in Manila for the week ahead.
This early drive and passion for work would be instrumental as he entered the academe and on
to become an instructor at Assumption college of San Fernando, Pampanga (Currently the University of the Assumption) where he met his erstwhile inspiration and better half Socorro Tinoko de Dios.
Eventually in 1973 he was appointed as the very first dean of the college of Engineering and during his stint as head of the department the school produced her most illustrious and competitive civil engineering graduates.
It was at this period that he established the P.R. de Dios Construction as a Single Proprietorship company. The company had a steady stream of satisfied clients that would eventually progress to a full-fledged major construction company in 1989 with the collaboration of esteemed corporate clients as San Miguel Corporation, Nissan Motor Phils, Shell Corporation and Six Stars and Dev’t Corporation, SMC Global Power Inc., University of the Assumption, Ginebra San Miguel Inc. San Miguel Purefoods Inc.
Today P.R. de Dios Construction, Inc. is a privately held corporation headquartered in Mexico, Pampanga with projects completed in commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, religious, residential, and water/wastewater treatment facilities, for public and private clients.
Through our long history business owners have praised us for our attention to detail and our ability to provide knowledge driven and cost saving solutions for the most complex construction projects.
Today, we are recognized as a leader in our industry for our strength in traditional construction
